In 2019, Marcos and his wife moved to England from Brazil, where he had known Tele Moraes for many years. Over their long friendship, he had seen Tele plant church after church, and Marcos firmly believed that this was God's design. The Ribeiros found a robust community of Brazilians in their southwest part of England, with many of them seeking a deeper connection with the Lord. They partnered with the Baptist Church for the Nations, and are working toward forming their own house church.
Covid has slowed down much of the church planting effort, but Marcos has a weekly radio show (he is a talented ventriloquist and puppeteer) with over a thousand faithful listeners that continues to share the love of Jesus as they grow. |
