Gospel Friends Partners with World Renewal since 2016, Reverend Dr. Ghuna Kumar is the Founder and Director of Gospel Friends in India. After years of ministry with Scripture Union and VBS in India, he attended Wesley Biblical Seminary and founded Gospel Friends Ministries in 1992.
Headquartered at the Living Hope campus in India, they have the Living Hope Theological College (with over 350 graduated missionaries reaching 2000 villages), Jaya Paramedical College (with over 1000 graduated nurses working in over 500 hospitals), the Dorcas Sewing training (with over 3000 impoverished women trained and given a sewing machine), and three Living Hope Children’s homes, a primary school, and a VBS program that reaches thousands of children each year.

Sarah & John Church PlantingWorld Renewal is proud to introduce you to our longtime friends and partners, John and Sarah (for security reasons, names and pictures have been changed), church planters in India. Sarah served the Lord faithfully as a single woman, and then as she met John and they began their life together (welcoming their son in 2024).
Their vision is to create a discipleship movement where all the major cities in India will be impacted to further reach out to towns and villages. Their mission is to disciple families and young adults in the church and outside of the church (Disciples making Disciples) to multiply the spread of the gospel and sustainable discipleship. They have a men's group called the Real Men meeting on Saturdays and a women's group called Biblical Queenology meeting on Tuesdays. Thursdays and Sundays are for fellowship at the church they have planted.
