After many years of loving and serving Burundi, Africa, The Krumenacher family felt the Lord stirring them to go back to Burundi with Sister Connection and God made that dream a reality in August 2022. In 2024 they moved there full time, serving the widows and orphans of Burundi. Josh and Michelle are both ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors) certified, Josh has his BS in Biblical Counseling and his MA in Practical Theology. Michelle holds a BA in Social Work and her TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) certification. The Krumenacher family spent a year serving in Burundi, Africa. While there they made long term connections with the Burundian people. They returned to the States in March of 2025, but their hearts remained in Burundi. Josh is working at the World Renewal office as the Vice President of Global Mobilization and Michelle is assisting with Donor Development. They are also serving as representatives to Burundi in the USA. Currently, World Renewal Burundi has two people employed who assist with on the ground ministry in Burundi. World Renewal Burundi helps support an orphanage with 48 children ages 1-23 years old. This ministry raises funds for daily food, monthly supplies, and to pay the staff of the orphanage. This ministry also seeks to ensure every child hears the Gospel message of Jesus Christ and has abundant opportunity to hear of God’s love for each of them.
