Near the Amazon Rainforest

Living Stones near the Amazon began in 2021. During Covid, The Gouveias, who'd been working with indigenous tribes for years, were not able to continue because of pandemic restrictions. They worked with nearby areas, such as Mirante do Falcao, around the Amazon instead, finding many kids thirsty to hear about Jesus, which began Living Stones and new church plants. We are excited to share that now that restrictions have been lifted, the Gouveias are able to reach out to indigenous children as well! Because of this expansion, we are changing the name from Mirante do Falcao to “Near the Amazon.” Please pray for the Gouveias, as last year they both delt with some serious health issues that meant they had to stop working for a couple months. They are excited to return to serving and traveling to hard-to-reach areas to share Jesus!
