Ghuna Kumar and his team want to provide a new set of clothes (about $5.50) for each of the orphans, paramedical college girls, new believers in the churches, girls in the Dorcas sewing program, and for the pastors and their families in the Gospel Friends ministry: about 5,000 garments. To distribute and celebrate, they will have 10 different Christmas parties all over India, the largest one on December 7th, with about 2,000 people. It is not to late to help with this Christmas wish!
Over 7,300 children have been able to attend ABBA Daycamp this year, and over 300 of them have made decisions to give their heart to Christ. 26 churches are actively involved with these campers, many of them also adopting public schools located near their congregations to be able to continue to reach out and disciple these new believers. The past three years have been spent carefully planning and building and applying for the proper paperwork for the Mwanzo Mpya Academy. In January they will be an officially recognized school! The plan is for 50 students in kindergarten and 1st, and then to add 35 students (and the next grade) each year. But we need child sponsors for these children! What an incredible Christmas present- to be able to support the Rangi children- who have never had an opportunity like this available to them- from kindergarten, and watch this ministry and these children grow up to be the first generation of Rangi REACHED with the gospel!

The Good Samaritan Orphanage and Christ Compassion Orphanage are serving children who would love to receive something special for Christmas. Pastor Maula also runs some primary schools where the children are depending on the food they receive there to get them through the day (the Rosemila project).
Flavio Travassos and his family are serving about 8 hours away from the World Renewal Brazil headquarters. They have dealt with a lot of health issues this year, while living in a rural area that makes health care difficult and troublesome. They are hoping to be able to take a trip to be home for Christmas with their extended family, as well as to make sure all of their health issues are checked and treated for the new year. Please keep Mozambique in your prayers today. Far from a silent night, the country has been in political turmoil these last months. The corruption of the current leadership continues to drain the people, which is one of the 10 poorest countries in the world. Pastor Assuerio Naque and his wife, who serve there, had already made plans to spend January with their son, who’s wife is expecting their first child (the Naque’s first grandchild), but decided to leave early and spend Christmas with them too, away from the risk that plagues the streets daily in Mozambique. Please give them wisdom in knowing how to best serve and train leaders in this politically charged and often dangerous situation. Would you help the Naques with the extra costs to tickets to join their family for Christmas?

The church in Herzliya that World Renewal partners with has a regular tradition: A holiday market, and then a Christmas/Chanukkah caroling event. Both events are great opportunities to invite friends and neighbors, and they always have people who just drive by and join in. This year, these events will be on December 13th and 14th. Please pray for good weather and for all the small details to fall into place for a wonderful time together!
Starting January 6, Damerson and many others in Brazil will begin their annual IMPACT outreach: where all of the churches send their brightest and best (that are willing to give up their summer vacation) for a time of training and worship- and then going to a strategic location, working with church planters to IMPACT that community for Christ. Damerson said they quickly run out of wordless book bracelets that they pass out after sharing the gospel in door-to-door visits and street evangelism. You can get them for about $.18 on Amazon.
The Krumenacher kids noticed that it gets pretty cold in the rainy season. They also know that the kids (and widows) that they work with often only have one set of clothing. Imagining how cold it must be when that one set of clothes gets wet, the boy’s came up with a solution: “Let’s get them blankets!” It is roughly $10 for a blanket and the boys would like to give away 155 blankets by the end of January.
